# Commitment can be defined as the decision to do what needs to be done, whatever the cost. Christian commitment was defined by God’s example. God saved us from our sins; He loved us more than anyone can and that is God’s commitment to us. He even sent His one and only Son to die for us, to redeem us in this sinful world.

We are God’s children, our commitment in His ministry is important. Our ability is not measured by what we can do but how we make ourselves available for His ministry. Our commitment is more important than our talents. But how do we know if we are committed to God?

## In the book of Daniel, we can see His commitment to God. No matter what the consequence of sharing God’s word he knows that he is under the protection of God. And that is what God wants us to have, the commitment and passion in serving God no matter what the consequence is.
